Hello, I'm Lynsey Lowe a counsellor and psychotherapist working in Wollaton, Nottingham.
We can all face times of difficulty when having someone to support us can help. This may be life events, such as relationship breakdown, redundancy or bereavement or could be personal problems like depression, anxiety or feeling overwhelmed by what life has thrown at you.
Feel Good Friday
I'm supporting "Feel Good Friday" and donating £3 per client I see for counselling to The Samaritans in the week ending 3rd February. The Samaritans provide telephonesupport 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They take 5 million calls each year. For more information about "Feel Good Friday" visit their website.As a counsellor I will provide a safe, confidential and supportive environment in which you can work on your difficulties. I won't provide solutions but will work with you to explore the problems and help you to find your own path.
I am a warm, understanding and non-judgmental person who has many years experience working with individuals in a range of settings. I have worked within the NHS, Weightwatchers, the BBC and in law. I have five years counselling experience as well as past experience in education, coaching, career guidance, interviewing and advocacy.
I have my own counselling room in Wollaton as well as access to rooms in Beeston if that is more convenient for you.

The best part of my job as a counsellor is meeting people who are unhappy or struggling with something and helping them to work on what’s bothering them. It gives me immense satisfaction when I’m able to help someone find a way forward.
